Argentina volleyball coach Julio Velasco says that to play Iran team in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium will be tough.

The Argentinian volleyball team has been scheduled to face Iran on July 3 in Pool I1 - Group 1 of the FVB World League.

“Our players have earned good experience during the FIVB World League. We’ve beaten Russia and France and we’ve learned a lot from the strong teams in this edition,” Velasco said.

The Argentine-born Italian volleyball coach worked as Iran mentor from 2011 to 2014 and played a key role in transforming Iran into strong teams.
Heaping praise on the atmosphere at Azadi, Velasco said,”There's a different atmosphere here to other stadiums and I know we have a difficult task ahead of us. The Iranian fans always support their team but we’re looking forward to gaining experience,” former Iran coach added.

“I am happy to be back. The Iranian people will stay in my heart forever. I’d like to stay here for a long time,” Argentina coach added.
